Owl CD case/mini album

When i went to my first workshop with Dianna from the Paper Art Studio, she showed me how to make an easy CD case/mini album.

I thought it was such a neat idea and have since made quite a few of my own.

A few months ago, I had my parent roster day at Jake's kindy and I couldn't wait to take a few photos of him with his little buddies.

It was such an awesome morning seeing Jake with his mates.  I got a few nice photos of Jake with his friend Noah, so I made a mini album for his mum.  I put the photos onto a CD which fits snugly into the centre album pocket.

As you can see, I'm really liking my owl punch teamed with the Woodgrain background stamp.

My baby & me

I can hardly believe that my eldest son Isaac will be 8 years old in just 8 days!  Since he was born, i knew i wanted to put together scrapbook albums for him.

I have to admit, i am a little bit of a perfectionist, which is why it has taken me this long to start.  I could never decide on a theme, the papers, the layout and the like.

So here is the layout i have done for Isaac's album.  It is only the beginning as I have an entire 8 years to catch up on.  Not to mention starting albums for my youngest, Jake who will be 5 this year!  Heaps to do, but I can't wait to get creating.

I love weddings.

My beautiful and very dear friend Katie is getting married to her lovely fiance Nick in Tahiti in November.  I was so excited when i heard the news on New Year's Day this year!

Katie and Nick had been searching around for wedding invitations for a little while.  I told Katie that I would love to do something up for them to have a look at.  I didn't want her to feel like she had to go with my little design, and that I would just enjoy going through the process of coming up with ideas and making something for them to look at.

I sent Katie and Nick the mock ups and they decided to go with it.  I'd like to share with you the final product.  I'm really pleased with how it turned out and very honoured that Katie and Nick have allowed me to make their wedding invitations.
